Kau Boots London is the brainchild of Victoria Anne Rézon who has been active in major Public Relations and Marketing Companies over the past ten years.
On a visit to New Zealand in 2005 Victoria found a small family-run business specialising in luxury sheepskin and cowhide products. Spotting an opportunity to create something unique footwear, Victoria drew around her feet and selected a beautiful, glossy black and white cowhide, the kind that she thought synonymous with cows she saw in the countryside where she grew up and so the first ever pair of Kau Boots were conceived!
Back in London Victoria found that the cowhide boots turned heads - she was stopped repeatedly and asked where they came from. Clearly, these boots made an impact to the fashion footwear conscious.
Returning to New Zealand in 2008 during the winter and having no Bond Street within easy reach this prompted Victoria to get creative - this time having a variety of different boots made up in a mixture of colour ways and heights.
Back on home turf in London, in early 2009 Victoria decided there was clearly a gap in the market for something new and funky. So she decided to launch 'Kau London' which represents a synergy of the best of both worlds: a perfect blending of traditional Kiwi comfort and luxury boots with the urban style of Britain's fashion capital, London!
Normally precious about her fashion finds, the unusual nature of each pair of Kau Boots meant that this time she's happy to share!
